iType Keyboard; Turn your iPhone into a laptop.

Ion have given details of a, somewhat un-practical, full sized iPhone keyboard. Ion are marketing the iType as an extension of your iPhone to allow you to “leave your laptop at home”, and it is designed to turn your iPhone, or iPod Touch, into an “ultra-portable” PC. Not that it wasn’t portable before.

Ion haven’t given any details on the pricing of the iType, but have announced that it will be released in the second quarter of 2010. I don’t know why apple hadn’t thought of this, as many people have been crying out for one.

I’m not really sure if I would buy one, but a full sized, battery operated keyboard for an iPhone would be great fun.

Tap Tap Revenge 3 [VIDEO]

Tap Tap Revenge 3 is the 3rd installment to the Tap Tap franchise, and this version does not disappoint. Solid game play, and catchy tunes makes the experience much more enjoyable. So even if you are a hardcore gamer, and like to beat everyone in your path, or a casual gamer who wants to just rock out, Tap Tap Revenge 3 is the Application for you. In my opinion, TTR3 is the best free application out there to date.

Quick Reply SMS Application Review

Quick Reply for SMS is available in the Cydia store for $2.99.  Is this app worth the three dollars?  Let’s find out.  I picked up this app about a month ago and started using it frequently.  It seemed like it was something Apple should have incorporated in the SMS app in the first place, and now I’m surprised they hadn’t.  What this application does is it allows you to quickly reply to a text message while your still in another app.  A third button is displayed in the SMS alert pop up entitled ‘Reply’.  It then pops up a new screen for you to quickly reply and get back to what you were doing.  Overall i would give this app a 4/5.  It would be a perfect 5 if there weren’t as many bugs, but there aren’t any that are too severe.  So in my opinion, this app is well worth the 3 dolars.  In fact, I would have bought it for 10.

EDIT: I forgot to mention this one little feature about this application.  You can disable “double tap at lock screen” in the settings of the app,  for if you have a password on your lockscreen.
